Not just the masses. I heard the same thing about gas-price gouging recently from a BS (business school) professor. No answer when I asked why the companies wouldn't always do that and what makes now different?
While I'm not sure of all the ideas proposed, I like how you've drawn attention to the different strategies that have been implemented. These should be considered and thought about.
On the contrary, what is left of the West that is worth saving - the rotting carcass??? Credentialed box checkers can only destroy the old order. They CANNOT build anything new as they are too stupid to! Look at Sri Lanka and think Kamala, BUTTgeig and the rest of the clown car show in DC and Brussels...
The quicker they destroy things, the quicker something can be rebuilt while there are still some people around who know how to do something e.g. like farmers etc...
